Worship

EPC of Marshall hosts a friendly, inviting, family-oriented atmosphere where we hope you´ll feel right at home. Our worship style is a delightful mix of traditional hymns and contemporary praise songs, with words projected onto a screen for all to follow along. You will find people dressed in suits, dresses, or jeans and t-shirts. We truly have a comfortable mix of casual and dressy church-goers, and we like it that way.

Sunday School meets at 9:30am

What to Expect on Sunday?

Scripture

We believe in the power of the Scriptures. In other words, it is by the reading or hearing of the Word that the Holy Spirit convicts hearts, exposed sin, and offers grace--Salvation can be found no other way. You will find a healthy diet of expository preaching and the public reading of the Bible.

Worship

the Bible commands us to "Make a joyful noise, all the earth; break forth into joyous song and sing praises! (Ps. 98:4). At EPC Marshall, we take that imperative to heart. Here, you will find a worshipping, singing family of believers, grateful to our Lord and Savior for all his many mercies each day!

Prayer

The apostle Paul tells us to "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you" (1 These. 5:16-18). As such, you will find a congregation committed to prayer, both private and corporate.

Confessional

Not to be confused with the Roman Catholic sacrament of "confession," to be confessional means that one holds to the traditional confessions of the church as summarized in the Westminster Confession of Faith. We also hold to the Apostle's Creed.
